Hey guys, I am in need of a road model, i have modeled one but UV Mapping and making it FPSC ready is another story. Does anyone have a road model I could use in a commercial game? Or also would anyone willing to UV Map, texture and make FPSC ready a road model I have made.



Thank you, I hate asking for stuff but modeling is not my cup of tea.

im not 100% sure of this but I think at some point road mapping will be introduced.

What file type would you like? do you have a preference?

Wasn't sure the size you have made everything so you may need to change that.



Also i never tested it as i am on a clean system without FPS awaiting the new beta

Thanks! I do have to change the size though. Can I do that without messing up the texture?

yes you change the size and the textures will be ok just keep the .dds files with the .x if you cant get it i will re-size it when tonight when the new beta is out.

I use 3ds Max to export to .X but there is free software that does it also like blender

Textures are just images but you have to uv-map them bit of a pain

The FPI file is easy that is just a text doc but saved as fpi i have included a sample you can open it in note pad and edit it.
