Hey guys I\'ve just started putting together a public wiki with tutorial video\'s and mods and effects and that, just hoping to get the ball rolling on something here that everyone can use to avoid having to scroll through the forums to find things once the forums start to get crowded so we don\'t lose anything, also hoping to implement the FAQ into it at some stage as well but will see how go, bear in mind that it is a free Wiki so there are some limitations to it but we\'ll cross that road when we get there.

cool thanks m8, I think the wiki should have shakyshawn's vid tutorial on custom textures adding in the custom terrain section it was good and easy to follow and covers the topic well .



but also note that sometimes the renaming of files gets changed to include (1) or (2) after the _D or _N of file names, at least that's the problem I had when following the tut's ( I use win 8.1) maybe its just me though I don't know. anyways these bracketed numbers stop reloaded from working if included in the terrainbank folder. hope this helps

added it under mods and effects next to mfgasca's written tutorial. and yeah if you want to add anything you should be able to its fully editable by anyone

28/1/14: Updated Wiki with a script page, Started using Anchor links to make Navigation Easier, and would love to hear from anyone that would like to help with this, i will be making a video later on how to edit some of the more basic things in the wiki i.e how to add a code section or imbed video's. Thanks for reading

Latest Updates to the wiki Page, any have suggestions or anything they think should be added? just let me know



Update 29/1/14: Updated Scripts and FAQ Page's



Added current LUA commands to the scripts page

Cleaned up Scripts Page and added Anchor Navigation, Top links below codes and links down starting at script #3

Added FPSCR Logo to top left

Added the Scripting with LUA and Importing models to FPSCR docs from reloaded file to FAQ page

note files are located on my Google drive so as to save file space on the wiki server

Added Anchor Navigation to FAQ page links to Top of page under each doc and links at top of page to start of each Doc



Updated 28/1/14: Added a new Scripts page and started implementing Anchor links on pages to allow for easier Navigation will put more anchor links in as i find the time. anyway newest updates:



Added Medic Station Script by Fane

Added Modified Door Script by J_C

Added Player Distance to Object Script by J_C

Added 2x Anchor links for Navigation on Mods and effects Page

Added Video's Page and Embedded a few Video's

Made and Embedded a How to edit the Wiki Video

Roughly each week i will change the featured video on this page, this week ; Sinister by TattieBojangle

Embedded MadLad's FAQ to the FAQ page

Update 4/2/14: Added Announcements and News Page

Added Beta 1.005 fix to news page and beta 1.005 change-log

NOTE: Approved a 5th member to the wiki today so unfortunately unless i start paying for the wiki then that is maximum members however this should not stop anyone from editing this wiki, thank you

If theres enough intrest i'll add tutorial list for other 3d modelling programs as well as blender, i.e Hexagon and Wings3d, Let me know in the forum here

Update 10/2/14: Cash Scripts Added

Added a cash pickup script and a weapon purchase script to the scripts page

will make a video tomorrow night on how to modify these to suit you



Update 9/2/14: Added Scripting Help Page

Also added a full list and examples of the math. functions of LUA - i was looking into math.random and thought this could help others



Update 7/2/14: Added another Script by Fane -- no key door script

I'm not really a fan of having to scroll side to side to see the videos on the front page. Is there a way to squeeze them into a fixed frame? Or just bump the feature video above or below the "heres how to edit the wiki" video."



That's just a bit of my critique on the site itself. Other than that its good to have this resource!

Update 19/2/14: Another Script and more News

Added latest news to news page and there's a new event on the calendar

Added my latest version of an ammo purchase script that allows the ammo pickup to be purchased multiple times

oh and the video i was going to do earlier i had some major failures with that but will try again on my next work break



Update 12/2/14: Cleaned up Scripts Page

Cleaned up Scripts page adding more anchor navigation and making it all 1 column to more easily display across different resolutions

Added smallg's short and simple example script for a quest to script page

New Featured Video: Castle Test map by E30Legend

P.S, Computers working hard now encoding the cash scripts video, so should be up soon

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone that would like to help out this wiki by expanding the tutorial sections and adding a new page for wings 3d as this seems to be getting a bit of use at the moment



Just finding it difficult to make time at the moment with work and oh almost forgot..... missus is pregnant so i may lose a bit more time , wonder how long until i can get the kid to start scripting for me



Anyway if anyone's interested in helping me out it would be very much appreciated.

Already a tonne of information on the Wiki - well done! Hopefully I can provide more lovely script commands soon and hooks into the content side of the engine so you can do even more. Just sorting out this pesky performance

Thanks, hopefully there's a heap of stuff I can add to the lua pages in beta's to come. As well as expand the resource in general. I will be on extended holidays soon and then a baby in August so you will most likely see me absent for periods of time but I will do my best to keep it updated. And just a reminder to all that the wiki is fully publicly editable and I am complety open to anyone who wants to edit this page.

hey all been away from the wiki for a while but planning on a big update after v1.007 and as such i am seeking community input. I have made a google docs poll asking if you would all like the scripts page to show scripts the way it does now or if you would prefer if i was to make them into a lua file and just a post a description and a download link so that they are ready to go confirmed working LUA scripts for your games. Anyway poll is here and please vote, the more votes the better and i will be doing more pools for wiki features at a later date:

sorry all but with bub almost here i have stopped all work on this wiki and if anyone wants to take it over it's theres. i just really dont have time anymore to keep this going. so sorry but if no-one updates it, this could be the death of the wiki

If you don't mind try to keep the data if you can. There will be an official Wiki soon, if you can keep copies of the all the page text I will most likely be able to give you editor access to the wiki to add it all.

I can export it all to a data sheet so I will try and do this tomorrow, all the scripts need updati g with an init function but i will sort though ot all and update it when the official wiki goes live
