Feature Creep / Non Fatal Weapons???

Stun guns/darts, bean bag launchers that knock out npcs, etc... Would be good, specially to make a more detailed in-depth game if reloaded ends up going with Lua.



Would add a lot of options to quests.

This is an interesting idea, but whats the difference between kill and non kill? Different sound effects? They get backup after x amount of time? Instakill? All of this can easily be coded into a game, however the multiplayer aspect of non-lethal weapons would be interesting and a lot more difficult to implement. Support for this could be useful.

You should still be able to accomplish this with LUA using player effects for the multiplayer aspect.

I like the idea of rather then always killing an enemy that some weapons simply send them into an unconscious state.
