Feature Creep / Independet view and targeting (VR)

One big deal would be if the targeting position could be independent from view on demand. As when you use VR glasses, it is really important that your view is independet from your mouse aiming.

In FPS it was not possible to script this, cause of the targeting code. Maybe if this option is included from the beginning its easier to make this possible,

Am I the only one playing around with oculus rift?
