Hello All,

Been messing aroung with some free models I got from TurboSquid a few years back.

Managed to get them into reloaded (just with default textures, no spec, diff or normal).

I created fpe files for them and zipped them up. Here's a little vid of them...

To get them into Reloaded, do the following:

1. Download the zip file http://retrofps.com/downloads/freemodels.zip

2. If Reloaded is open... close it!

3. Create a folder under your entitybank folder. Call this folder anything you like within reason.

(e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\The Game Creators\FPS Creator Reloaded\Files\entitybank\Mymodels\)

4. Unzip the zip file to the folder you just created.

5. Open Reloaded, click on add entity and you should see a new category called Mymodels (or whatever you called your folder).

Feel free to mess with them.

Enjoy...

Thanks. Here's your chapel with some trees made in Tree Magik.

I hope to upload some tree models soon. The ones in the screenshot are just a taster and are a bit small.

Green Gandalf, how did you get the trees from Tree Magik into FPSCR?

It's obviously time for me to finish my next little utility.

I outlined the steps on your other thread:

When I've tidied it up a bit I'll start a new thread for it.

Your steps work perfect. We managed to get trees from Plant Life into Reloaded. My wife says your steps were very clear and easy to follow. Of course, your utility

Thanks.

Now let's see if I find them just as easy when I write the code neatly ...

Sounds like your wife has written the utility already.
