Bug Reports / problems with entities going under the water

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, or if I'm doing something wrong, but when I try to place a boat in my ponds or lakes, instead of it going on top of the water, it goes below the water, is this a bug?

Not really, entities align themselves with the land, not water so the boat is resting on the terrain under the water.

well I seen one of the picture posted on the site showing a ship floating, how do i get that effect, with mine?

I'm not sure if buoyancy works yet. You can stage things for screenshots though I'm sure by removing their physics options so they float?

You have to position the boat manually by using the Page Up / Page Down keys on your keyboard, this will rise / lower the entity. There's no need to mess with any physics as long as the object is static (a red glow, not green when you pick the object up).



That's how I got the boat to "float" in my Gallery screenshot - Ice Lake.

This is how I do also but it takes forever if you have deep water maybe we need a [Shift]PgUp feature for quicker movement to be added.

well we could use some arrows like on unity or udk... that way we can easily move entities around.

There is a issue of giving the player a starting weapon it doesn't load with the player. Was giving him the uzi.

Was trying to load other models like Scifi and was able to run some of the things. But when it came to the weapons its like the first time running fpsc they are getting stuck in the ground/ unable to pick up.

The model packs that came with the purchase of gold. Doesn't work with the beta yet like the models just spin in circles. Was trying to get Medusa to rise and attack. It just spins around too.
