This might be of sum use to someone that is using this card and having problems running FPSCR. I had the latest driver for the card but I was getting all kinds of strange things. Pick up a gun and no gun to be seen. It would fire but the flash was off to the right. So I ordered a new card. Then I decided to try to rollback the driver and it worked. The driver that I have is version 9.18.13.1110 dated 1/24/2013. The best I can get out of it 23 fps so if your having trouble with your card you might give this a try. I will replace the card anyway because it is borderline Just a tip.

I am re-posting this from a earlier post that got lost when TGC did a modification to the forum. I might add it looks great. So back to the post at hand. I am currently using the NVIDA GeForce GT 630. When I first installed FPSCR it would not operate correctly. When I would pick up a gun in one of the level samples the gun was not visible. The characters would show up without a gun. The gun would be floating off to the side. So I decided to replace the graphics card. So I got one on order after I ordered a new one I thought I would look into the problem I was having. I checked the driver's for the card and they where up to date. So the only thing left was to do a rollback. To my amazement that solved the problem. The best I was able to get out of it was 22 FPS. So I will still replace the card, but if you have this card and having problems you might give this a try. The Driver Version is 9.18.13.1110 Driver Date 1/24/2013. I hope this can help someone.

You've just reminded me of something I'd forgotten.

I'm using a laptop which uses the Nvidia Optimus system with two graphics cards: an Intel HD Graphics 3000 with an Nvidia Geforce GT 630M 1GB. I'd forgotten till now that the default on this system is to use the Intel card. I've just tested FPSC(R) using the Nvidia card option and it does indeed run a bit faster. With the default settings the fps has risen from 4 to 8 (still too slow of course) but with various things turned off the fps has risen from 13 or 14 to 20 or 21 which is playable.

So this is a reminder to those with similar set up to use the "high performance graphics" option. [Please don't ask why I had to be reminded to do this. ]

@DennisW I am using the same card a MSI Nvidia Geforce GT 630 graphics card. It has 4GIG DDR3 memory on the card. Using Direct X 11. I have no problems at all with graphics issues. I am running a ASROCK 990 FX Extreme 3 motherboard with a AMD FX 4300 Quad

@Granada

What is the FPS when you only have the first two panels showing? I do know that I have seen a big difference from just the two panels and all of them.

Try BETA 1.004. You might find the extra shader panel will boost your FPS 'quite a bit'

Hogging the awesome since 1999
