Greetings, wishing everyone all the best during these times. Below is a base package for TPS adjustments for anyone to use/build apon. Please lets stay on topic though.

What does this package do, prevents directional snap when not using right mouse button, allows run and shoot in direction.

ZIP (scanned prior to upload) - tpsbasepack : includes

entitybank:
weapons: tpspistol folder (drag into weapons folder) for TPS pistol ammo pickup. Uses original .x mesh and texture.
+ Uber Soldier Red (modified FPE file)

scriptbank:
ammotps (edited script to allow for tps collection)
gameplayercontrol (modified script for tps adjustment, and does not affect fps control as shown in video)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Process: As shown above in the video/ breakdown.

1. Before loading up GG, back up your stock files, and replace the gameplayercontrol script in the scriptbank folder.

2. Use any Soldier/CC character for test and drag on start marker.
*make sure in the model's FPE file / ischaracter = 1 and weapon = modern/colt1911 however any weapon is fine if set up.

3. Right click on model and go to side panel (Third Person)
Camera Locked = NO *as this gives a different result, used for vertical gameplay use / strafe
Camera Distance & Offset = *can be set as desired, depending on style of view required.
Run Mode = NO *run will still work, so no alarm there (this step is important)

Make a backup/rename: Scriptbank/gameplayercontrol script and replace with the file found in folder zip.

Prevents snap direction when not using Right Mouse Hold. Also use directional fire while moving.
There is no additional animations added to this Pack, this is only a quick option moving forward. and feel free to modify and build apon. As shown in video, this updated file should not affect FPS mode in any way. Have fun with those TPS projects and all the best

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

REFERENCE
FPE: (reference for CSI adjustments in any character models ready for TPS use)

;character animation (tps only)
csi_stoodnormal = 100,205
csi_stoodpunch = 2340,2382
csi_stoodmovefore = 685,707
csi_stoodvault = 2281,2332
csi_stoodmoverun = 795,811

Above are the current base animation slots in stock for TPS. A FPE file does not require all to be listed in the FPE to work.
*If not sure, feel free to leave the other csi listings in your FPE, however these are the ones that can be adjusted for stock build.
Refer to the Uber Soldier Red FPE file included in the zip. or make a backup of original and replace with this one to test.

BONUS
add the ammotps.lua to your scriptbank folder and the tpspistol folder to the entitybank/weapons folder, for placing pistol ammo on your map build, uses stock .x and texture. This ammo can be collected in TPS mode, modify or make new ones using the ammotps script reference in your ammo FPE file.
