Yo!

I haven't released anything for free in ages so I figured it'd be about time for me to do so. Y'all better be downloading this interplanetary antenna!
At least that is what I call it. You can of course use it as anything that suits your law. Might be a shield generator or some kind of beacon.
Its not up to the quality of other models I made in the past and has some lazy bits but all in all I think it looks fairly decent in a sci-fi scene.
(I sourced some parts of the textures from graphics by the cosmic prophet which I have permission for.)

A WORD OF WARNING

This model has caused some trouble which is why it has not been approved to be sold on the store last year. It doesn't damage anything but might cause the entire scene to lightmap when placed in a map. Feel free to experiment and see if you get this issue and if so, what causes it. Its a save download and model otherwise.

Interplanetary seismographic data emitter (my of course it is)

if i find anything i let you know

edit: i saw in the fpe file this: scale = 2315
i scaled it up in fragmotion and saved the textures as dds.
no problems with lightmapping.
so i think it was the scale...

That's pretty cool - plus mutli-use oriented pending your project. Complete with fancy name!

Now........if only it didn't remind me of that sculpture from Beetlejuice lol

Thank you Wolf! This looks great and is right on par with the quality of your other assets (it fits in wonderfully with your terraforming pack!)
