Hey all, been working on some space stuff.

Heres the first skybox - Amethyst Nebula, this one has no ground plain, so when you look down all you see is space!

@wildman4 and @Pirate Myke, thanks guys. Was about to make a video of my next skybox - Sear Nebula Outpost - but gg decided it didn't want to load the editor anymore.

So uninstalled gg and steam and going thrue the tedious job of reinstallation - hope it works!! hehe

Hi all, here be the next sky box: Sear Nebula.

Similar to Amethyst Nebula, this one also has no ground plane so you can take your game into deep space. By using the edge of your map you can create indoor levels that give the appearance - when looking out of a window - of being off-world somewhere out in space!

Hi all, the next skybox: Sear nebula Outpost.

On this one the ground plain is some kind of alien metal, and overhead there is a spherical support structure. The intent is to give the illusion of being on some kind of alien outpost/space station.

The terrain I used in the demo is intended to be used as a simple hard surface that is meant to mimic being on like a landing platform or something - so no mountains, water, trees or anything.

Hey all, here be another entry for this series:

Vapour Moon: There is no ground plane so when you are close to the maps edge and look down all you see is deep space.





Submitted to the store, and once approved will add it to the Deep Space pack, so if you already have that pack you get it for free!

EDIT: Now in the store and added to the Deep Space pack.

Hey all just added Racha Nebula to the Deep Space set of skyboxes, will be in the store once approved.

Racha Nebula SkyBox simulates a kind of gaseous cloudlike deep space nebula. There is no ground plane, so if you use goindoors.lua to turn terrain off you can simulate being in outer space.

As soon as it is in the store I will add it to the Deep Space pack, so if you already own that then you get it for nix!
