SAVIOUR V1.2

Created by Tarkus1971

Indie Game Contest 2015 Entry

Saviour is a visual and audio experience created in GameGuru.

You find yourself alone and being told you must complete a mission to find the last DNA elements of a failed race of beings.

These DNA elements must be found and returned to the creator to restart the million year experiment again. This will be the 4th time such an experiment has been tried, the last, the 3rd experiment was the most successful, but the need to remove the self destruction tendencies of this race will have to be worked on.

You must explore the last outpost, traverse the high platforms and high level maze of Base World 4 and complete the mission.

Tips.

Make sure you read the "About" section before you start.

Pen and paper essential to write down the door codes.

Keypads only function using the numeric keypads on your computer/laptop.

Search carefully. The level 1 outpost is small but debris is everywhere.

Level 2 platforms are everywhere, running jumps on some too.

Use the flashlight when outside. "F" key, level 1 only.

There are flashing lights in the game so please be aware of this.

Most of all enjoy the game, and its bleak atmosphere.

Good Luck and Thank You for Downloading.

When I press the number keys on my keyboard to enter the first code, it put's 3 of the same numbers in
at once, no matter how careful I am to do this,......It's like the number pad is super sensitive or something ?.
No matter how quick I press the keys, it always puts more than one of the same numbers in ?.
I'm not sure if this is a problem at my end ?, but because of that it is unplayable for me,....pity, I would
really like to play this,......it looks kind of cool.

Shadowman - I think that's a scripting thing, not my script. I had this happen once on another level. I'm hoping that problem is not too widespread, sorry.

Inertia - again the script needs numpad. cheap PC keyboard would do it

Saviour V2

Now available to download.

Whats New.

Notes can be read by pressing R and to put the notes down, just move using w,a,s,d. Simple.
Notes can be re-read also, they do not get destroyed.
Slightly lighter levels.
Sounds will now be correctly placed in the stereo image, great in headphones.
Extra keypads to open previously unlocked doors, this helps eliminate the "can't go through door" bug.
Keypads are fixed now, The key repeat speed is never now super fast. (Fingers crossed!!!!)
