Hi

I don't know why but sometimes the key repeat speed is soooo fast, you can't accurately input a code....

Does anyone know why this is.
Aftershock Quad Core AMD FM2+ 3.5 GHz 8GB Motherboard and Processor, A7700k apu, AMD HD7870 gfx card.

Probably a timer issue or lack of I expect. Hard to say without seeing the code(which you obviously can't show), but that's my guess.


SPECS: Q6600 CPU. Nvidia 660GTX. 8 Gig Memory. Win 7.

Yes, agreed, i will try to edit the script and add a delay in the key scanning.

OK I have found the below

If I press Return or Enter on the numeric keypad the speed is too fast.

But if I press, on my keyboard, the backslash and a : symbol (Above my return key) on the keyboard the speed returns to normal, Just need to PM Jforth and see if this can be fixed. I cant find his PM link anywhere.

Not sure what you mean, but I wrote my own script for the keypads(kind of competition with nullptr )
Try it:

Hope it fix it. If not contact the author unfamillia. I think he is Jforth designs
My dream is to develope games, which makes fun when I create it and fun when other people play it.

hey thx corno1, i'll try it and report back yes your script works well, it animates the buttons etc, but the door assigned wont open.

Maybe you can post your remote and door settings. I tested myself and it works

Slight bug in the script (original - not Corno's). Change as below within keypad lua:



GetInKey() returns "" when using number pad.
