This crash issue was raised recently in general topics and I suggested if I caught it I would report it.

I had a very simple terrain, was doing some smoothing over "sandhills", went to testmode (SP) and it crashed on entry at "initialising physics". (I am doing some scripting work but it was running previously with my scripts with no changes prior to crash.)

On re-entering test mode, lighting and terrain etc. are all reset back to defaults.

If I get any more occurrences that are same error but different process, I'll update.

Wonder if TGC are trying some sort of "Event-based system" script, perhaps update some framework is needed.
Just my thought.

I replicated this today and was able to get it to happen on demand.

In my case it was as simple as calling PromptDuration(test,5000) where "test" had previously been defined and then accidently commented out.

ie: A unceremonious dump for an undeclared variable within PromptDuration.

Incidentally, Prompt(test) will generate the same error.
