Any chance of doing a simple (non zombie) scientist character in a labcoat?
And thanks so much for your hard work. That zombie is fantastic

Sitting
Standing
Walking
Shooting
Not sure what else - a talking/hand waving animation? (Like over here!)

A weapon and non weapon version are my plans; ever play blake stone? They had 'civilians' which were lab techs who were sometimes friendly sometimes not. That's basically what I'm going for here.

That Zombie is epic. I'm just starting to learn character creation and animation, I wish I could do work like that!

A few variations of the mesh with different skins would be awesome, same zombie with different clothing, and maybe a couple of female ones.

for those who bought or gonna buy the scifi corridors, i have two halls with windows in it.
They fit seamly with the rest of the pack.
they are here for free, because of the problems i have with lightmapping and glass in the buildings.
So the only thing is that you can not use lightmapping if you use these two halls with windows.

hall with 5 doors and one with one window and one with two windows

Thats correct Larry,
these buildings are a addon for the scifi corrdiors that are on the store.
They use the same texturemap as the one in the store.

Something I have noticed recently, with regards to the issue where items are showing with the wrong thumbnail in the entity selection windows, every entity I have found to be the culprit of this happening for me is one that doesn't have its own _D.dds file and shares with other models. Might be a coincidence, but it's worth a thought.

Scrub that, I've narrowed it down, the .dds file thing was a coincidence, what was causing thumbnails and names not to match up for me was a few misnamed .fpe files, seems if the name doesn't match the model and texture names exactly it messes with the file structure display for entities.

So much awesome stuff in here Harry, thanks so much!! One of these days I need to take a stab at animating successfully. I really appreciate that models you give away, they are very nice. The texture for the radio is really nice, it will go well with a scene that I am creating. THe video camera looks awesome too. It does look like it would have been challenging to texture, let alone model. The metro tunnels are nice as well - it's simple and smart how you built them in pieces. Much easier to create varied environments that way. I can tell your texturing and modeling skills have improved since I first noticed you around here and the store. Excellent job with the characters.

Thank you teamhalo for the nice words.

And i think we all grow a bit further and a bit better , everytime you make something.
i see that on all the artist around here.i see a lot of really great stuff from artists .
and offcourse for me sometimes a lot of trial and error.
And if you need help with the animation part, just let me know, and i will try to help you as best as i can. maybe a video etc..

Harry

Another zombie, thanks!
They are great!

A question:

It is possible that a zombie rises from the ground?
Like zombie from Half Life 2 for FPSCX9

Thanks!

Download and installed Zombie from drop box no probs. So thanks for that Harry.

In testing though seems to be a glitch, spawned in about 10 Zombies and 2 of them eventually just ran on the spot and could not be killed.

Managed to recreate it every time, seems to be random, some times one zombie is unkillable and just runs on the spot, sometimes 2.

Here's a video. Might need to give it a few minutes as it's still being processed.

sorry, only just seeing this post now, i can't reproduce the issue (even with about 30 in 1 small area they all react and move as expected) but did you try downloading again just to check?

i did however improve the script a little bit so they are now more "aware" if you're not shooting at them
