I'm another one for the 64 bit, C enhanced edition, but not at this stage. Finish this version of Reloaded and then perhaps start work on FPS Creator Reloaded - Enhanced Edition further down the line.

Check out the [FPSC Reloaded FAQ]!

Lee, I would steal your teapot, if you go 64bit now :p

However that said, I have not run into any memory problems what so ever, made a massively large level with over a 1000 entities and used 1.3gig in memory around 1.2million polygons without any LOD with LOD I managed to tweak the level to around 260K polygons drawn at any given time.

I was expecting a DX10 or DX11 engine with 64bit support, so that we can make use of instancing, and better shaders. However I am pretty happy with the engine in the current form, it has a lot more freedom from a design aspect, as long as the collision system allows for entities to walk on any and every possible shaped entity you can design, I don't care much for 64bit or DX11.Graphically there is nothing wrong with reloaded, missing AA and AF, and loads of more cool shaders. That was my gripe with classic shaders, only really near the end of classic did we see cool shaders, classic was stagnate for over 8 months I think before the first upgrades.

We def needs some blur and better bloom system actually the bloom should be dumped for HDR, depth shaders added, and get rid of the one full screen shader at a time so we can have Depth, blur and HDR, would be a healthy graphics boost

However I would say pending support for the product, which when released on steam should be massive, DX11 upgrade should at least be considered, however considering that DB would needed to be coded for DX 11, 64 bit support might as well be added.

Hi all,

I am testing the version 1.006 now and congratulations to the FPSC-Reloaded development team for the great improvements, especially in the software performance during game play compared to its early versions. There are issues still, but it is nice to see FPSC-Reloaded getting better after each new update.

Thank you.

Cheers,

Northern

With everything I HIGHEST settings I will get 25-48 fps with my pretty decent computer. We have much to go when it comes to optimization.

i5 clocked @ 4.5 ghz

8gb - PC3 12800

TWO AMD 6970 GPU's in CROSSFIRE (both overclocked to 900 core)

Windows 8 x64

I feel I should be still be getting OVER 60fps considering I can run the new Wolfenstein on MAX @ 1200p and keep a stable 55-60 fps.
