Game guru max crashes constantly on my machine. Usually at load screen. Furthest I have got is saving terrain settings. Any way to generate random terrin from terrain settings?

@puzzle20, what are your pc specs?
11th gen core i7, RTX 3050 6 GB ram, 24 GB Sys. ram, Win 11. Passmark score 6072.1

ryzen 7 1700 - 8 core processor.
rx 490 4gb graphics device
32 gb ram.
Ubuntu 20

The kit runs ok. Occasional crash when clicking debug only. GameGuruMax though does not.
Clicking generate terrain it crashes everytime but usually crashes at intro video splash.

I don't think GGM runs on Ubuntu 20, only Windows 10, 11.

I'm guessing he's using a Windows VM on Ubuntu to run Windows apps like MAX. However, if his video card is only 4GB, that may be an issue, particularly when run through a virtual machine?

In his other post he never mentioned Max .. Just AppDevKit crashing.
I assumed he was referring to AppGameKit.

Either way as stated Max is Windows only ..
If you do get it running using Windows VM its more luck than anything.

Actually I'm just using the kit and GameGuruMax through steam. Getting past splash screen sometimes with proton on ubuntu.
