I have created a small application xControl that will allow you to change keyboard mappings for GameGuru MAX, please note these changes will be in the editor and will pass through to standalones, please reset the values before creating a standalone.
If you want users to be able to change settings in your standalone game please see my other Application xInstall.
You can of course just manually edit setup.ini this GUI is for those that prefer not too
