Product Chat (Early Access) / NPCs in GG MAX

Hi
I noticed a strange thing about NPCs in GG MAX. If there ist a NPC set to f.e. PATROL-behaviour, it only starts to patrol in two cases:
1. if player can see it or...
2. if player is near enough or...
3. there is another NPC that started any behaviour

I am affraid this applies to other behaviours too...

Select the character and set to Always Active in the character settings then try again.

Hi
Yes, that is what i can reproduce and does not show the problem. See videos in attachment. The first one is the same setup as you are showing. The second one shows a situation in wich the same NPC with the same settings (always active, show at level start) is hidden behind a wall at its starting position. This one works again, if there is another NPC in line of sight... Strange thing...

yh there is logic in the .byc to wait for player detection before it starts to act
put this byc in your "my documents -> scriptbank -> people"

Before messing with your byc files can you both confirm you are using the Experimental build.
I recreated your first screenshot and its working perfectly here ?
even behind a wall.

Excellent !!
A lot of issues reported in the Steam retail have been fixed in the Experimental so right now its a good build to be on i think
