I'm desperate. I've just finished an art project game as part of a Theatre school "Intermediality Art" workshop and I can't export the game for the presentation/exhibition. I need to present the work ASAP. The theatre people have put in a lot of effort with the story and voice acting and I can't let them down.

I read that a version rollback might be the solution, but I don't know how to do that in Steam.

Also, am I gonna lose some progress if I do this? I've made a lot of custom assets for this project! :,(

Right click on GameGuruMax in your Steam library
Select Properties
Select the Beta Tab (you do not need a key for this)
From the dropdown menu select the 18-09-2022 and update
Once done Reboot and you should be good to go and no you should not lose anything.

NOTE .. Never Ever use Alpha, Beta or Early Development tools for important projects.
Your just asking for trouble as it changes so much in Early Development.
No one ever really leaves.

Thank you! So easy! I didn't realize a rollback doesn't require a reinstall!

The all levels standalone test is working now! I need to fix/change some of the behaviors but it's an easy fix!

P.S.: I understand the risks of using early builds. I wanted to see how far GGMax can be utilized as an art medium and backtrack if some of the features failed to work. I forgot to consider that the final presentation might be one of the issues.

You can select any build in exactly the same way.
Also, to go back to the Retail version just select "Non" from the dropdown menu.
Such an easy process as you say
No one ever really leaves.
