@PCS
You could try deleting the ...
C:\ Users \ user \ AppData \ Local \ TGC folder
Then try again .. NOTE ... This will reset Max to default so you will need to redo your settings.

I can only suggest deleting the old and a full re-install as a last resort.
For me that's just 15 to 20 mins but understandably for many its a long process

Ok the only thing left is to post on Github with all the info you have posted here ..
That way Lee or Preben can converse with you directly.

@ PCs
1- Close installer when installing is done (do not open GGMax)
2- Open the file named "showannouncements.ini" and change 1 by 0, and save changes.
3- Run GGMax

Hi PCS ,
have you updated your Video card drivers ?

Also , your video card specs are way below whats needed...
could you being running into a video card issue ?
Is is possible the newest updated needs something your card cant give ?

@PCS
as time goes on if your video card is 'NVIDIA GeForce GT 730' you may find the extra features Lee is adding maybe too much for your Card.
The Engine gets extra features each week.

This has nothing to do with the graphics card. I have a 2080Ti and I am experiencing this as well.
