I am looking to use GG to create some world environments that I plan to screenshot for a game not made with GG. Are there any restrictions on using GG to create assets/environments for games made in systems other than GG?

If you are talking screenshots/videos, you can absolutely use GG, no license restrictions. I know someone who made a point and click adventure using GG screenshots, for example.

However, if you plan on making assets for GG and porting them to other engines then its not ideal. Its possible but the difference in file type and material setup makes it more work than its worth.
