Hi everyone. I've been beavering away on my current project and wanted to change the sound effects for the weapon of my 3rd person character. I went in expecting to be able to change the normal sound slots and found they are not there, instead there is a soundset option. I've never really done much with third person so am a little in the dark. Where do I find the player option to alter or replace it? Is it in the FPE or hidden away somewhere in file structure?

Any info appreciated

The sound set is the legacy character sounds system.

Basically the idea is that you have multiple samples for 'hurt' for example and the AI script just plays a 'hurt' sound and one of the multiple is selected at random.

An example is audiobank\character\male.

Been there, done that, got all the T-Shirts!

under file/audiobank/character/
the next folder is named the same as the fpe reference
then you will have a bunch of folders that hold the different type of sounds (i.e. onhurt, onaggro etc)
a sound is played randomly from within the folder depending on the state called by the script
