Hey TGC Team,

had you ever think about implenting a Behavior tree system in GameGuru?
That would stop some diskussions about AI. There would be no hardcoded AI, wich act the same in everybodys game, anymore.
Everybody could build his own AI easyly.

Greetings,
Andreas

Okey... no answer seems to be a "No".
It is a little shame. Behavior tree make a game extremly flexible and are not difficult to manage.

But I think its a big thing to implement.

Your kind of asking in the wrong place.
The Beta 3 thread would be better but to get a definite response to the question then the Live feeds on Wednesdays would be the place to ask

As Synchro said, your asking the wrong way, they don't generally answer random threads addressed to them, they're busy and don't have a dedicated community manager answering everything as such (plus Lee is technically on holiday at the moment and also stuck in the lockdown in Wales), Lee really only regularly reads official threads like as synchro suggested the beta 3 thread, he will occasionally when he has time have a flick through other threads, but not regularly.

As to your suggestion, if you had been keeping up with the broadcast and other threads on here Lee has addressed that multiple times. The answer for now is no, there will be no behaviour tree or node system for AI and no large changes to AI at the initial release, he has however contemplated adding a visual scripting system at some point in the future, maybe as a DLC, but he's wary about doing so because he doesn't want to just shoe horn in a messy node system, he wants something sleek and neat looking.

Tanks for the response.

I wrote it like this because I don't expect it in beta. It was a generelly question.
The Broadcasts I don't follow because I'm deaf. But I will read more in the threads at weekend.
