Please forgive me for posting this here, but I believe my original post has been missed.

I have created an app that will allow you to make a Cubemap of 'ANY' room/scene and apply it to your assets, thanks to Pirate Myke for taking the time and putting it through its paces we have found it makes a pretty decent Skybox too

The orginal code is by Jonas, he has helped me get it working for GG with FULL permission to re use his code to work with my WebGL code his original source is on GitHub.

Absolutely neat!!
Using real life skyboxes can quite add a lot of style to your art direction. Its very uncommon to do that.

I used to have some games where I took that approach before I relied on rolfy's work.
