Does it have an instruction file with it?
The store link does not explain how to use it?

@Tarkus: Thats a texture pack. Its not designed to be used in Game Guru. The store owners try to branch out and support content for different engines.

Assign it to a plane and the use the decal_animate shader with the tiles in the shader set to 8 and 8.

That would be a 64 image sequence.

PM me if you need a modified shader setting for it.

I'm glad you mentioned this because I had it on my wish list. I just noticed the things said in this thread now that you folks discussed it.

Take a model of some thing square or a rectangle like a sign...

[1] Click on "File" then click on "Import model"... A window will come up that asks you to choose a model to import. [See the first picture below.]

[2] Find the folder and model you want to choose, such as a sign entitiy that I suggested (which should be in X format or sometimes an FPE will do). [See picture 2 below.]

[3] The model should come up in the screen at the feet of a red human character model icon... [See picture 3 below.]

[4] You can then look to the right of the screen and click on the right on the red bar to make it bigger compared to the character model icon. [See picture 4 and 5 below.]

[5] You can then see just below the red bar that there is a rectangle box that says character_basic.fx... You should hold the cursor over it and hold the left mouse key down... A drop down menu should appear and you should move down to the one called decal_animated64.fx and click on it. [See picture 6 below.]

[6] You can then look over to the left of the screen with a little box and you should click on that and a window should appear and you will need to find where your water textures are and click on the one you want. It should then appear on your sign entity or whatever entity you choose.

[7] You should then look to the top of the screen and click “Save entity” and save it to a name you assign to it, and to the Game Guru entity folder... I would use the one marked “User”.

[8] This should bring you back to your main editor screen where you can click “Entities”, go to the “User” folder (or which ever folder you put it in, and then click on it so you can put it in your map.

I hope this helps...

I wish you all the best...

Thanks Granada...

Maybe someone should do a cut and paste on that and add it to the Game Guru manual...

I give my permission for someone to use that in the manual... or to copy and paste it for another thread that could use it as a tutorial.
