Here's the rug, it seemed a little too simplistic to put on the store.

----------------

I made a tester sink I was trying out that would be for the ebe. You can make your own counter and put the sink insert anywhere you want which would be good for variety. I have ran into a little trouble making it round instead of the square though. It appears cutting the hole out ends up being either too small with edges sticking through the sink or two big and having gaps around the outside

thanks granada, it's all about the textures. Usually I can't find matching textures for the cushions and the rest. I got a little lucky this time and with the help of clone brush and paint.net I was able to finagle the rest into matching.

Here's a bed I made. I wasn't quite happy with the pillows but rather than toss it I will put it on here for free. It's not bad by any means it just triggers my ocd. I'm trying to stay productive but I like playing games just as much as making them and it's a busy month so we'll see how it goes!

edit: I just noticed, this picture was taken before I fixed the texture on the bottom of the quilt where it has a slight mismatch. That is fixed in the final model

why you dont use tissue simulation for the bed fabric, instead of doing a flat 3d fabric...

If you mean cloth simulation, then it's probably because cloth simulation adds thousands of polygons to the model and he wants to keep it low polygon.

Primary Desktop:

Secondary Desktop:

I would do a cloth simulation but like belidos said it would send the polygon count way up. I try to keep everything as far down on the polygons as possible so it doesn't bog down performance too much. If I were doing these models for animation rather than games I would go a little more wild with some of the details instead of cutting corners to make them game friendly.

Almost done, still need to do the Specular and normal mapping and I'm also hoping to do an illumination map to make the lights and neon red border glow at night.I'm debating on whether to get rid of the star or not. It almost makes it look like a giant present rather than a decal

I toned down the illumination so it doesn't look so radioactive and removed the star. Available soon

a diner booth

I smashed these together a little too close but its the basic idea. You set them back to back and then do rows

I've decided to go in little further with the diner props after the booth so I made a quick set to get a visual. I've got the front counter made and the diner lights but it still needs more for filler. Possibly some neon signs for the next project. Also needs stools for around the front bar

Thanks granada! It does need pictures. I was going for the look of a Mel's diner they used to have back in my hometown. I would love to do a bunch of the Elvis frames for it like they had but I'm guessing that would be frowned upon

Thanks granada, the floor tiles I got off google just to make the scene. If this was going to be my game I would agree with you, the tiles are a bit rough. Some diners style trash cans would be nice, I think I've seen a newspaper machine made by someone else already that would go pretty good. I was thinking a cash register machine but I'm sure that's made already... I would assume.

I'm more than willing to make the stuff if a different style is wanted, they just seemed good enough to me. I appreciate your suggestions,I could always use more ideas. my next project will be the trash bins(thanks for the idea) . Looking at the screenshots again I think they're needed for the pack.

So what you guys are trying to tell me is this tile is no good...hmm. I have to blame shutterstock for hogging all the good ones, it's all their fault!
Here's a fixed version with some less beat up tile. I should mention the tile textures arnt part of the pack, there just for demonstration purposes.I can't seem to find a royalty free checkered floor And haven't got around to making one by hand. oh,Here's the new trash bin too. I am considering changing the color to black metal and redwood to match the theme though

Thanks honkeyboy, I liked the extra glow myself but in the daytime the gas station was still radiating a little too much so i tried to balance it out. That screenshot also has lights and light mapping where the other one doesn't so that helps too.I guess I could put it back to radioactive if you guys like it better and if it's used in the daytime the illumination map could just be removed...

I didn't know he had a diner set, i like his work. I don't know about replacing the cosmic prophet's stuff, I'm not sure I want to cross somebody with that name! We'll just say it gives you more options. Glad you guys are liking this stuff, it keeps me motivated to do a more

That is a pretty good idea, some of those diner style ketchup and mustard squeeze bottles.well, I guess I'm not done. I already went back and thought the diner could use these light bars So i I'm having a time making myself wrap this project up.
