hi there!
i have a question. what must i do to make enemies (soldiers, zombies, medieval, whatever) attack and follow me in the wizard of id sewer set as seen in the screenshots?
i have
forcesimpleobstacle = 3
in all FPE files but it doesn't have any effect.
the enemies do attack me but they don't follow me or they walk into the walls.

Ok this looks an easy one .... it looks like you have water in your sewer .... characters wont walk on water...
almost like not standing on the ground ...

Try a quick mock up ...flat map ...no water and sewer tunnels ..... I will bet they attack you then
Also I had to add the force obstacle as it wasn't in those fpe.s back then.

What syncromesh says sounds about right, if it is the case there's a free water decal somewhere in the free models section you can use instead, I forget exactly where and who made it though.

EDIT: Found it for you .... https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/215371

When he says above the water, he means flat on land, not floating above it or anything. We think the reason the AI isn't moving is because AI will only work properly at the moment on the same level as the terrain.

strange: when i put the tunnel system on flat land without water it still doesn't work. when i put a few tunnel parts on a new map and put some enemies in it it does work as planned. so i guess this was my problem. thank you for the help!

now i completely changed the map. i made a flat terrain and inserted the water as an entity. now the enemies work better, it works i guess so my problem is solved. now i can complete my "safe house" game. thank you guys!
