This isn't meant to be a spamming thread or anything. I'm just curious as to how many people here have created their own website for their games (or other purposes) and wish to show case them.

I've been into web design since as far back as the early 2000's. I'm no pro, as I've only ever made sites using free servers like Geocities and now Wix.com. I remember turning to web design mainly because video game design, at the time, was almost impossible without deep extensive knowledge.

So who here has their own personal website?

Wow! That's a damn nice looking site! The SUP logo and background are especially eye catching.

TY Dagger I started online with Webtv, lol we couldnt really do the same things as a pc back then, but this was good because it forced you to learn how to do things yourself .

Not a bad website, although I don't personally like that full width scrolling style of website, and the about section with it's white writing on a sky blue background is almost entirely unreadable for me, I don't have great eyes and I find it hard to focus on those colours.

It works!..........my plan to eliminate a certain percentage of my potential customer base is finally working!

I should really address the font colour issue....... sometime.....

Btw, my website can be accessed by clicking the logo in my signature. It's nothing special, I like to use custom installs of WordPress for ease of use and on the fly editing. I prefer themes that are clean, neat, easy to use, and shows as much info as possible without having to scroll too much. I really need to update it more often.

I've had various websites over the years, two fairly long term ones (they're closed now because I didn't have time to maintain them) were guild/clan/cabal directories, one for Elder Scrolls Online, and another for The Secret World. Basically they were sites where guild leaders could sub it a form and have their guild advertised with all their details on the site. The TSW one was quite popular, but the ESO one had only just started to get off the ground before I had to step down.

I also have a "creative" site, it was meant to be an evolving story based on my character in The Secret World, but I never git very far due to (at the time) ending uo with three jobs and no time for blogging.

Nice Site Jay. Agree with Belidos about colours - maybe make the background similar colour to sky in the top pic.

I actually changed the top image as the first one wasn't great. The cyan colour for the backgrounds was actually the same colour as the sky in the old image.

I agree with you both, the About Me section was hard to read.

I have corrected it now, to match the new sky colour. Much easier to read now.
