LOL, yes, at least that, once you've spent the "weeks or months" to learn everything that goes into making a game, even an "easy" game engine! Plus the weeks or months mastering all the other tools involved! I will never say you can't do it, but I will say you have more than "weeks or months" ahead of you, unless of course, you use all stock or purchased media! Stick with it, though, there is a LOT to learn! Welcome aboard, and don't be afraid to ask questions! Most folks are more than willing to help!

Indie doesn't mean free, it means independent developer, ie someone who isn't part of a big well known games company, you culd charge a million pounds for your game and you would still be an indie developer because you don't work for a company like EA or Ubisoft etc. and likewise if a big company like EA or Ubisoft developed a game using GameGuru it wouldn't be an indie game, it wouldn't be AAA but it wouldn't be an indie game. The indie status is always on the person or group of people developing the game, not the software they use, nor on how much they charge for the game.

I have never completed a game myself worthy of selling so you can take my advice with a grain of salt, but I recommend NOT asking a million pounds for your game. It would probably not sell very well. But then, at that price, how many copies do you really need to sell?

LOL, that's absurd, but I'm sure somebody will do it! I like the author's line at the end:

Quote: "If any VG247 readers are in a position to drop $10 million on anything, get in touch. I have several excellent ideas to benefit humanity, particularly the bits of it positioned between my keyboard and chair."
