If you have posted a review of GameGuru on Steam and wish to wear the new GameGuru Reviewer badge on the forums, simply email me at lee@thegamecreators.com with a link to your Steam review, and your actual forum name here and I will get the badge added for you. You might think it a strange accolade but the reviews really help us with ranking and also provide us with honest feedback in compact form which acts as a lasting reminder of where GameGuru presently is, and where it could go in the future with your help. This badge is a way of saying thank you for helping us do that and also tips its hat to users of the official GameGuru website forum which provide some of the most in-depth answers to questions ever asked, and holds a repository of knowledge and material to keep the avid game maker busy for many many moons.
PC SPECS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7-5930K (PASSMARK:13645), NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980 GPU (PASSMARK:9762) , 32GB RAM

You must log in into steam and then go to the shoppage. There should be a textfield: Write a review for GameGuru

My dream is to develope games, which makes fun when I create it and fun when other people play it.

Thanks very much Corno_1

I'm getting error for start session (Spanish here, sorry)
So I got some email telling:
Quote: "
This email was generated because of a login attempt from a web or mobile
Here is the Steam Guard code you need to login to account 3coms:"

So I try that code, and I got the same error again.

Now I remember why I do not go there never again.

If my TGC account is linked to steam one, and I'm already logged into TGC account, why in the hell, I should logging again and again.

Steam will create a new security code each time it feels like it, so best to check your spam folder for the 'latest code' and only that code will work to activate Steam on the PC you are on. Once done, it should then allow you to move about on Steam normally. Steam likes to protect with a capital P.

Steam accounts can be worth some serious money so while it might be annoying to restrict access its certainly worth it for some.

You can of course always turn the steam guard off.

Anyway, when I wrote my review, press "public review" button, recommend this sotfware=yes; I've got this message:

Quote: "You must have a Steam account that is not limited to analyze this article. "Click here" for more information on Steam accounts limited."

After click, I notice I've limited account and...

Quote: "You will need to spend at least $5.00 USD within the Steam store."

Apreciatte some feedback, thanks in advance.

@3com ..

Ye I had that myself when I first signed up ... Its a steam thing ...

This is steams explanation

Quote: "In order to protect our users from spamming, phishing, and other abuse, Steam prevents some accounts from accessing certain community and social features.
Malicious users often operate using dummy accounts that have not purchased any games, items, or wallet credit. In order to make it more difficult for these malicious users to spam, scam, and phish other users, we restrict access to certain community features until an account has spent at least $5.00 USD in Steam. "

Thanks synchromesh for reply

So, that meant I'm forced to pay a leats $5 if I want to review about GG.
Well, all for a good cause.
Hopefully steam have something useable in GG. Better I'll add some refund (steam vallets) to my account.

It's damned annoying is what it is, I've spent thousands of pounds on steam over the years but it still randomly restricts my account for reviewing.

When I complain they say: "dude you have to spend $5 in steam first" and I say "bro, I've spent many bucks here" and they reply "i dunno man, it's not cool for some reason" and I say "oh well guy, I won't review then"

It's like totally gnarly.

I'll try to get a review done on one of the rare instances where I can actually access the review system.

In your steam profile or your account there is an option on the side to show your reviews. Steam is being a pill for me right now.

Yep that is it. Steam wants there dime.

Transfer $5.00 to them from a PayPal account. It is pretty simple and they get it instantly.

you only have to do it once. Then they open it up for you. I remember having to do this when I first joined steam.
