Other than it cost 90 bucks, is there any downside to using this software. It saves any 3d model you create in the required "X" format (no need to use several other pieces of software to convert. It accepts ".dds" files for application of textures.
It is very easy to use.

Question.. is anyone using this software or am I just one of a few?
It can be purchased from the Game creators website.

The models shown in the attached screen shots took me about one to two hours each to create and about 2 minutes to activate into Game-Gru.
Seems like a win/win to me.

If it works and you can afford it, then use it, there's no rules about what programs you use as long as they work and you have the correct file types in the correct place

I am well aware that if I can afford it and want to use it I will go ahead. That was not my question.
My question was is anyone else using it and why not. If the cost is prohibitive then so be it.

I only threw in the attributes of the software to enlighten those who may not know of the ease of use.

Ah, I see. I got confused by the fact that your title specifically asked "why not use it?"

Your right, it was not written very clearly...
Some times the old brain cells are not as organized as they should be.

I may be alone using AC3D, really just wanted to know.

Hey, have a great holiday
