When you use Steam's backup feature does it back up all your work. ie your FPE files and everything or does it just back up the software itself (which would seem pointless as it's automatically downloaded and updated frequently).

Also, does anyone what format the compressed files are in? I don't recognise the file extensions. If, for whatever reason, I don't have access to Steam is there another application that can decompress the files?

Finally, how do you access the restore wizard?

Many thanks in advance.

I'm so paranoid about losing my work that I keep backups on 10 flash drives and two DVDs. Do I have a problem? Maybe I need therapy.

I used to backup all the time but my files folder is getting a little to big so I only do it once every so often
Now I just uninstall GG ( files folder stays intact and is not removed )
Then reinstall GG ....its often quicker than verifying to be honest
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..
