Anyone else notice lighting seems wrong in this build?

I've been noticing walls glowing brightly when the exact opposite should be the case. I include a picture demonstrating this issue. The sun is behind the building, yet the walls are lit as if directly in the sun. If you walk up close to the wall you will get weird brightness changes as you look around it, which if you could see the sun, may look okay, but as you can't, looks very odd indeed. This may only happen with certain models, but I see it in this scene with all the buildings I have placed. Certainly looks wrong in action, and I'm sure something is not right with the lighting now.

This normally happens if you are using a bright dynamic light somewhere in the map, even if you don't think it's bright enough or able to reach there due to obstacles etc it still makes this effect... Took me a while to figure that out when it happened to me.

That was for the last build though, so it might not be the reason in this case.

Have a look at your specular map . The white parts in the texture is too bright, white textures should have little or subtle specular highlights.Nothing to with the engine.

If you can show the issue with some stock media, and send me an FPM and step by step, I can take a closer look. As commented, specular map and the global specular slider can make surfaces not directly facing the sun seem VERY bright.

I have tried with some default buildings and still see the issue. The lighting looks completely the reverse of how it should look. It isn't as obviously over-bright as the store item I used in the image above, but it still looks wrong.

@Lee Bamber. Will send you the map. Easy to spot when you walk around the building.

As you can see the second shot looks darker, but is the side that faces directly to the sun.
