This is more directed to TGC. I'm not a huge fan of using a browser on my phone to navigate the GG site/forum because screen space is limited. Would it be possible to put together a mobile app which mimics the site but simplifies navigation?

I've done this in the past with a few personal sites and would be happy to provide source code which you could publish on the Play and App store. I Guess it's just for convenience. Just a thought.

The www.game-guru.com website already detects if it is running on a mobile and uses a different schema to render the contents. Was there something specific you found bad with the current layout. Just double checked on my Samsung S4 Mini and the mobile variant of the GameGuru website looks fine (you will see a button in the top right to bring up the top line menu items).

I usually test if a website is mobile friendly by holding down control and using the scroll on the mouse. GG site does conform as you scale it. What browser might you be using, @Landman?

All the TGC sites, excluding the main TGC website (which will be updated soon), have responsive designs they work well on any screen size. Creating separate apps for every website would be a waste of time and development resources, not to mention produce far more work whenever we have to release updates for the sites. Even if there were apps we would have to operate responsive websites for those users that don't want to install an app, which would be most users.

By the way, in my phone (Jolla / default browser) everything else works ok in the forum, except Log Out button (because it's located in the Account page too far right to be viewed) and Topics/Posts/Latest columns in the forum home page (same reason, I guess). The same happened with my old phone (Samsung Galaxy XCover 2 / Firefox browser).
