Hi! The latest update has finally brought me back to Game Guru.

I have an Oculus Rift DK2 available. Can I use it with the latest version of Game Guru?

edit: should have said v1.1 in the title

The only way I know of right now is to use VorpX with a game that has been compiled as a stand alone. Otherwise, native support for Oculus Rift will most likely be introduced in the future only.

There was a while back a flag that could be set but that feature got disabled a while back. Would be good to reintroduce that now that the first framerate improvement update has been released, just about everyone will be getting the required 75+ fps on above average machines. And by the time that the CV1 is released next year we'll also have seen the DX11 update come and gone which will increase the framerates further.

All the dev team would need to do is add a separate camera for VR the same way that Unity and Unreal do.

Native Oculus/Vive support will be a good selling point imo for both the engine itself and games released by the likes of us.

i really hope they do add back VR support once the commercial versions of the oculus and such come out (not the dev kits) because i think GG can be a great way to make games that are well suited for it... i dont think it needs to be rushed though, 3 or 4 months from now can hopefully see some more much needed features added before any such work.
