I'm just beginning to poke around Blender and Sketchup (Both export to FBX). I'm planing to create a building creation kit which utilizes interchangeable squared units that could be fit together like lego to create different building shapes from a few base meshes. I've banged out my basic approach in Sketchup, but before I commit to detailed work, I need to understand how scaling works between modeling software and GG.

Yes, I know models can be resized in GG, but that seems sloppy to me, and comes at the risk of texture/material degradation.

Ideally, users should be able to just drag them into the scene, and they are the correct size.

Can someone explain the process for achieving this?

Thanks in advance!

Well if you are talking about what I think you are the GG world is the same as the real one so 1 metre in the real world equates to 1 metre in GG. Good luck with your modelling

I've got something to say - It's better to burn out than fade away.

You could import a GameGuru character (eg soldier) and use that as a guide.

1 Blender generic unit equals 1 GameGuru unit.
