I have 2 situations when map testing where my bad guys heads are missing.

1. If they are placed on top of a building (not only the head is gone but they also are suspended in the air 3 feet up)

2. If they were inactive at the start and then triggered in. I am doing this by giving multiple enemies the same name and using a trigger marker to activate them. Is that the wrong way? Along with this.....the ones that were activated into the scene are immobile and also all were 3 feet above the ground.
See screen shot please.

Not sure what I am doing wrong to cause this. Any help is much appreciated.

Which head did you use on the Character Creator ones. So I can assemble one and test it.

Thanks.

I also found this issue yesterday. On returning to a level (using a winzone to load an old one in) I find all my character creator heads are missing. They worked fine first time round but on loading them back, no heads.

OK, I believe this or a similar one was reported during testing, causing there heads not to regen. If you go to the library and cancel out, do the heads return?
Does reloading the level cause the heads to regen.
Do you have to restart the program before you get them back.

I actually used 2 male heads. The head wrap one......the other ones were a normal head with a turban on and a beard.

One time I got close enough to them to go active and they appeared suddenly. The other tries they just floated there.
Killing them from a good distance made the head appear

I did this with them being triggered in and same with them just being in from start. Restarting a test game didnt change anything in either case.

Restarting the program completely didnt change this either. Its consistant. I've seen the floating in the air bit in DVaders competition demo too. (Commando1.8 here on the forum)

I've mailed the appropriate people about this and a few bugs I have noticed of late. I had promised a level for a different bug, so decided why not mention this as well

Any character creator entity when reloaded will lose their heads it seems. I went from one map to the same (although renamed so I could change it) all the characters lost their heads. Quite amusing really apart from it ruins my game! Probably a work round, but defo an item to check out! These sort of bugs are a menace!

Thats hardcore I was going to do the same thing actually for different areas of a single map. My missing heads were on the same map without reloading though.
