Hi there! i have a little problem. i built a fountain with some parts and on top of it i have a fountain from i don't know where. as you can see in the pictures i have two shots, entity shader on MEDIUM: pool texture looks good, marble. entity slider on HIGH: fountain is much too bright and appears to be just white but you can see some structure. can you tell me how to fix this?

It does appear to be a model issue as everything else looks ok..
Where did you get the model ?

Using the metrics panel "Tab Tab " Do any of the surface sliders make a difference to the fountain ?
Bloom as well may be worth looking at ..

i don't know all the other objects are not affected by this. everything looks good but the fountain looks like it's too bright. i will take a look at the object then i can tell you if it's multi textured. i don't even know where i got this from. from the forum here yes but i have no idea where exactly.

Correct me if I'm wrong but...
I believe the medium slider setting does not use the "_N.dds" or the "_S.dds files (to increase FPS). When the Slider is set to highest the afore mentioned
files are used. Which leads me to suspect poorly created "Normal.dds" and or "Specular.dds" files. (Wrong settings used during creation).
