Here are our entry
http://contest.gamedevfort.com/submission/434#.VcPi7vntnX4

Dont be mistaken, but here are our old draug game post, a game that barely where developed. For the contest we started from scratch, new story, new gameplay and new models. Some models where used from the old one, but retextured and remodeled. We have used the same myth about the Draug thou.
I dont know if we gonna get disqualified by this, because that would suck...

Managed to put my effort up now. No idea what most the competition is like so far, not had much chance to test many yet.

http://contest.gamedevfort.com/submission/546#.VcQJ-VVVhBc

If you don't like the link, hopefully I will be updating it tomorrow, all going well. It takes awhile as you know.

Edit - Should be a standard dropbox link now, no need for a download program. As long as I have enough bandwidth of course.

Good luck to all entrants!

There're really some nice 2D games there.
No, I don't mean the RPG Maker games, there are some nice platformer games... really impressive work

It's all a matter of taste. 2D does not mean it is bad, just more old school. If they weren't fun, games would have died a death long ago For lots of games, 2D works better as well. It depends on the judges preferences when it comes down to it, and the scoring system of course.

For me, I'll be happy to rate in the GG category, anything else is a bonus.

Hello everyone!
This is my entry for the Indie Game Maker Contest.

STORMMAZE
http://contest.gamedevfort.com/submission/605#.VcX8CvntlBc

I found this contest only two weeks ago. I put all my movie & music skills in this little game, but I still have much to learn.
Game guru has enormous potential. I wish luck to all !!

nice looking game, wow, but like wizard of id, I'm beginning to think the contest might be a little biased, my community post there has just be marked as hidden.

the reason is below

"Your post was flagged as spam: the community feels it is an advertisement, something that is overly promotional in nature instead of being useful or relevant to the topic as expected. The topic was [IGMC 2015] Saviour entry.

Multiple community members flagged this post before it was hidden, so please consider how you might revise your post to reflect their feedback. You can edit your post after 10 minutes, and it will be automatically unhidden."

All I put in there was the link to the game and the fact it was created in GameGuru..... a little unfair I think. When it becomes LIVE again I will delete that post and see what happens next hmmmmm

Yeah well made my peace even after posting to their facebook page to "fix" their voting from redirecting to your submission page instead of the store page.

So yeah will not be entering again....... as I was also informed that he knows all of the judges on a personal level, I stopped caring.....

Well, I only entered for the GG aspect anyway. I've not had any issues, but I have only posted my entry up, not posted on the forums. No real illusions of it winning the main prize though! It would be great yes and be a big thing for me( a nice new computer for one), but whatever happens they have to have a GG winner as well. Not had many votes so far myself compared to the top runners, so I can see what you mean. Of course it could just be my game is rubbish

I think all the GG Entries have shown that a game can be put together quite easily, what we need is someone truly independent to set up a compo, steam or one of the retro/indie mags, also give us 2 months to get stuck in. That be cool. Anyways good luck to all who entered, thats my rant over.

For me Game Guru is not at a level where I could use it to create anything for any competition. Still facing limitations which prevent me from really expressing my creativity and the AI isn't satisfactory for me yet. I'm the type of developer that focuses on gameplay above all other elements. For that reason, I haven't submitted.

Nice presentation by the way Eisenheim.

Good luck to everybody, would be nice to see GG winner 2015, in the awards presentation.
I had seen very cool entries from GG.

No news as yet. Wonder when we will get any update on the site? As far as I am aware the judging period is over, so it should be announced soon.

Good luck again to all, and let's hope some Game Guru games get some prizes!

Lol no suprise from my part, gave fair warning this was going to be a 2D fest , not a single 3D game in there, pretty safe bet the rest of the prizes will be going to 2D as well, will just have to wait and see who gets the gamguru prize....

Good luck to the guys, who made the top 10.Definitely won't be wasting my time again on this.

Yea, I was a bit dissapointed to see that the top 10 only had 2d, and mostly anime rpg games. I love 2d games, but i personally dont like the anime rpg style, ugh

Good luck on the best engine game !!

The announcements were made and a Game Guru game was listed for the GG engine prize, but it now says "Under Dispute." Anyone have any idea why the Game Guru engine prize is under dispute?
