Somebody mentioned space. It just keeps getting to me...

Our intrepid space traveler, resurrected after his last rescue attempt (well, we thought he was dead) tries to navigate through an asteroid field.. As you'd expect, it turns tragically wrong... yet again....

For those that missed the first episode.

Lol, yep.

Although, this is actually a straight vertical rise with gravity off so "decelerate" is a mere lua line away

My problem (given the jetpack doesn't work at "altitude") is getting going again before "gravity" and "terrain collision physics" does the... errr... inevitable.

You inspire me !nullptr.......may I ask is your Asteroids actually falling from the sky with a low gravity and speed setting and are they spawning with a triggerzone?

just wondering...!

Here's the thing, the asteroids are actually static (except for rotation), placed using a bit of randomness. I am the one moving, vertically, on zero gravity.

The "faster" small asteroids are the result of psychology, not physics

Thats nice in early times I created in GCS a sort of flight sim "VRFlyer" where you could fly through corridors avoiding obstacles and defending against flying and non flying enemies, it looks like an old game "Descent" I played a lot in early times. Never finished "VRFlyer" depending on GCS engine problems.
Maybe I can create and finish "VRFyer" in GG , looks great.

Funny that. I keep looking at syncro's Star Wars clip and thinking.... hmmm... what can I do here? Asteroids crashing into the deck? "Uber" storm troopers... Copious quantities of laser decals... zap, pow, bam....

All good fun.
