I just bough a construction kit and when i extracted it i noticed each model has 1-4 texture files (1 for the floor, 1 for the walls, 1 for ceiling, 1 for door frames)

I saw on the forum that GG can support multiple textures with a model but what exactly do i have to do in the fpe? If i set a texture file it will only default to that one. Also, can GG support TGA format texture files?

leave the texture field blank and as long as your textures are in the same folder as the .x and fpe file it will use multiple textures. I'm not really sure about the tga format though. If you have milk shape you can always bring your model into there and switch your textures for dds formatted ones. Just take the textures that get exported with your model, open them with a program like paint.net and RE save them to the correct format then swap them in milk shape in the material section and export the model from there.

Thx. I removed the texture field from the FPE like your said and it worked. Btw the texture file format of all models are TGA and GameGuru reads it as well. The only problem i had after this was the position of the model but i got it to work by editing it to spawn location to .1% higher. I wish I could have done this in the FPE but offy isn't working for some reason.

Good to hear you got it working and thanks for the info. I knew that png and dds worked but I haven't messed around with other formats. You should be able to fix a position of your model in the modeling program before you export it. I'm not sure which program you're using but for everyone I've used as long as you keep the models bottom lined up with the X line (there's usually always the X,Y,Z coordinate lines) it should be at the right level.

Yeah. I use fragMOTION for this kind of quick editing.

Adding or editing below in the fpe file might help .... just set it till your happy with the height .... However level on the grid in your model software before export is better ....

defaultheight = 300
