Hi,

I am just wondering if we can hot swap texture files of an entity via scripting?

Or can we do it similar to how the LOD system works within the fpe based on distance to the camera/player ?
But relative to the entities health.

Cheers

As an alternative perelect, can you "hot swap" the entity itself? If it's static it's easy, if it's moving you could track x,y,x and rotation etc. and simply substitute?

Not sure what you're trying to do so it's a bit hard coming up with options.

Thanks DVader & !nullptr

I wanted to change texture files on entities as they loss their health, to show that they are being damaged.
On both static and dynamic entities.

So if its a NPC it would bleed and have torn clothing as it losses it health, for example.
If it a vehicle it would show dents and scraped paint on the entity, etc.

I am just trying new ideas that I haven't seen yet in GG.

Cheers
