I tried using the synchromesh's solution , but the waypoint can only be placed at ground level, but I have lava on the floor, so the waypoint is not working at all.
It would be good to place the waypoint at any level and to associate a platform to the player, for the player to move along with the platform.
I built a road to cross the lava, but this is not the original idea, I want to cross the lava up a platform.

Thanks for watching video.

You could use two boxes for the model exported as single mesh. The top box has a diffuse which shows and the lower box (which reaches to the floor) is transparent (all in same texture so shader can be used) this would follow waypoints. Could even offset height in modeler and use a very small poly for the pivot on floor any of these should work.

Main point would be to turn off collision and physics on the lava floor

i think setting defaultheight in the fpe should be enough to make it float

I agree but not sure of collision which is why I suggest doing it before model export and a tiny (unseen) poly at the pivot base before export from the modeling app

Guys do you remember in classic this one:

PLRASS=X associate this entity with the player (lift, nongravity platform)
PLRNOASS=X disassociate this entity from the player

This is what I need.

Why?

Because without it, platform follow waypoints, but player does not follow the platform, He falls down and die.

Why?
Because he is not associate to the entity (platform)

And not, the platform does no have gravity off, simply does not follow the platform.
so the platform leaves and the player stays in the same place.

I've ago time demanding this associate player ability, would be helpfull for lifts, platform, cars, planes, etc.

I did all you kindly suggest to me, and I'm really please with you guys, thanks again for help me.

I did what the smallg said, and try to move platform with: MoveForward(e,500), but so the player has to walk with the platform, and it is really difficult, due to the irregular lava surface.
I did with the platform this than Rolfy said, and this is the platform now.

TGC associate player please. I am willing to wait all the necessary time, only say me you are mind in that.

I recall a long, long time ago ( a year or so ) somebody had created/scripted a raft that the player could stand on and ride. I have no idea how they did it, or when, I just remember seeing it. I don't even know if it was in the scripting threads or in the third person media threads. Or perhaps I dreamt it, lol. Would something like that help you? If so, I will look for it this weekend. I have a lot of things to do with family, etc. but it's something I'm curious about anyway.

I've done raft with reloaded, I got raft moving but player does not.

As you can see, I've been waiting a long time without complaining.

It was so easy to do in FPSC-Classic. You just drop in ASSOCIATEPLAYER and *BOOM* your character could ride the entity. An additionally cool command in FPSC-Classic was CARRYALL which would even carry other entities.

FPSC-Classic was truly the real easy game maker lol

LOL, that does look awfully familiar! Maybe it was your raft and my imagination added the player riding it! And yes, it has been a long time!

Here's a script that (I think) will do what you want (or some of it at least).

Cheers.

It works like a charm.
Now I've got to work thanks to your script, keep working on the temples, many puzzles await the player, traps, swamps, quicksand, etc. in my The Quest game.

Thanks a lot cybernescence
