Hello,

I would like to know why when I place WayPoint in GameGuru on enemies that did not work
(see attached file)
Procedure I made:
1 - I place the enemies (here Orc for the test)
2 - I put the first WayPoint.
3 - In the editor of WayPoint I keep the SHIFT key pressed to trace a path
4 - I test the game but the enemy does not.

Besides, I have managed to run never enemies through WayPoint under GameGuru or FPSC Reloaded before. I succeeded only in FPS Creator X10 at the time ^^

Do you think that I did some bad things at the configuration or placement of WayPoint?

Can you tell me how the WayPoint under GG?

Great thank you in advance for your help and sorry for poor my English ^^

thank you,

DevCore

Hey Devcore!

You did everything right so far, I just think your character has no waypoint functions in his script!

Try copying the waypoint related (AI follow path) elements from the soldier script in a backup copy of the orcs default script. I never tried this but it might just work

Hello,

Apparently it works if you copy the LUA scripting codes that control the WayPoint. I would push for more testing for including it on the zombies which would be much more convenient

Zombie are not made for way points, they are free roam characters. they don't have the way point walking animations.
Soldiers, and medieval characters are way point capable.

Would be nice being able to attach waypoint to npc (boats, cars, platforms, etc), like classic does.

you have to model them with a bone and skin the mesh to the bone, then set the ischaracter = 1 in the fpe file, write a scripts for it to follow way points, and you have it.

Isn't it just their stagger forward animation? I may write up a script to see how it looks.

they look weird on way points with there current animations and was deemed to be free roaming to look better.
