hi there! i think this is the best thread title i ever made
ok, back to topic:
is there a possibility to make a melee weapon cause more damage? in my case i have the pipe from the office set (??) from an old FPSC archive. the pipe itself is working, also the crosshairs are now looking good (i replaced the old file with the crosshairs of the modern shotgun) but i need four direct hits to kill an enemy. i would like to have two hits to kill the enemy. is there a way to manually change the damage i cause?

also, i would like to know if it is possible to change the damage that is needed to kill an enemy. can i choose a random soldier and change the values to make him strong like an end boss to make the player need to pump a few rounds into the enemy?

i hope this was not too confusing. monday...

Manually change damage in Gunspec.txt of the Pipe-weapon.
\Gamecore\Guns\

Make enemy stronger/change damage.. -> change strenght in properties of the character.

i tried that. i found the files and changed the damage from 25 to 65 and later in the editor i changed the strength of an enemy from 100 to 250 but it all didn't work. when i play the game everything is acting like before. i guess i'll have to try again after restarting game guru or deleting the temporary files. or is there something wrong about it?

Don't know what you mean by 'didnt work'.. you mean the pipe was still at 25 damage and the characters at 100 strenght?
Or do you mean you still need 4/5 blows with the pipe weapon to kill the character?
Strenght 100/25 damage = 4/5 hits to kill
Strenght 250/65 damage = 4/5 hits to kill
In that case i can see why you don't see any change..

Try changing the gunspec of the pipe (back) to 25 damage.. change character in editor to 250 strenght and try again..
i guess the character won't die as easy anymore..
