After I have scaled and rotated an entity, is there no way to copy an instance of the scaled entity? I see no copy and paste functions anywhere. Must I add another entity to the scene and scale and rotate that too!

Hi Polaraul

Just click on the entity and press "Shift" then select "Extract " this makes the copy ....Click again to leave the original and you can then move a copy

A copy and paste functionality would be a nice feature. The extract and shift click method works but will slightly move the scaled entity. That could be annoying if you already positioned the entity how you wanted it exactly in the editor. Ctrl clicking multiple entitys at once and being able to copy and paste multiple entites at once is another way to enhance the editor.

Glad it was not just me. I was thinking I was missing something fundamental! I tried the approach suggested to me, and yes, it works, but if feels far from intuitive (specially for a system billed as easy) Copy and Paste really should be on the menu, or context sensitive.

I had noticed making a video we have more control over the mouse, because before I has to use hotkeys for capture video, but now I can use mouse and click over my capture screen menu directly, without hotkeys.
Does GG plane give us more control over the mouse in future?

In 2 other engines I've worked with they use Ctrl+D as in duplicate and Ctrl+C as in copy. This key combo creates the copy exactly in the same position as the original. Then you just drag the new copy wherever you want. Might be something worth considering for GG.

Select multiple entities at once + copy and paste + duplicate selected

Being able to move and scale multiple entities at once would be a great compliment to the editor.
