If you go to GameGuru's Steam page, you can get more details on the various packs. Here is the page for MegaPack 1, for example - http://store.steampowered.com/app/321140/

About pack " description" :
"A GameGuru Mega pack containing over 400 game ready entities!" or "A GameGuru bumper pack containing over 600 game ready entities!"
it is NOT a description of the pack content
Give us more info please.
Any buildings pack containing destructive buildings, or whatever pack containing weapons too etc. ????????

Is it possible to tweak the 3rd person character controls? From that Fantasy video, the character is sliding all over the place when he should be walking.

I take all of them.. as gold pledge I redeemed my 4 free packs and bought other 2 but sincerly as user of old fps creator and bought all packs for it I think that TGC in future updates dont simply convert packs from older fpsc version but must add new and original content

I want to help the development og GG and bought these packs anyways but is not a good thing have same models twice or triple..
I hope tha TGC politics is not simply take old content and adap it to GG becauase is so it's a really bad thing..

we NEED original content not remakes..

@TomScott:
Yes you can, In the properties of the start marker, you can lower the setting of the Speed and the Amin Speed to 50. It looks better at this speed. We will be getting more control over this in the future.

I really mean whether or not we can have Lua control over the 3rd person so I can script my own ways to handle animation start/stop, which animations play on key presses, camera control, etc.

well you have to look at it this way not of us have the old pack to fpsc so TGC is considering those of us who don't just don't want to take the time to convert. but truth is it is real easy chose between the packs. if any of you have the legacy pack from the time this was reload you have most of the mega pack01 so point of buying it. if you have legacy pack and city pack you don't need mega pack 03 as well. now this is where it is tricky legacy pack also have parts of the mega pack 02 in it. but the parts are the castle and some other items. so if you are a gold member get the Death Valley ,Fantasy pack,Buildings Pack and Mega Pack 02. now the reason to get Mega Pack 02 because it also has some character that was not part of the legacy pack. these are the best free packs for gold members.

@TomScott:
I am not seeing anything in the global.lua file that will allow us to do that yet.

Hopefully soon. I like to customize myself.

if you create your own script and attach it to the entity before you drop it onto the start marker it will control the character - combined with your plugin it should be more than enough for you to create a (mostly?) fully working system, i created my own from the stock commands but i know you have more at your disposal

Don't forget, as far as legacy content goes; not everyone came from Classic. Some users are brand new to the product, and don't have any of the old stuff; which is still very much useful.

I haven't converted ALL of my Classic content yet, so I look at it this way: I don't have to now!

haha I agree I however did select the DLC way too soon before seeing more details of whats inside (which appeared later in the day). I just kind of assumed they were brand new. Some of these packs I have 3 groups of, each now, but its nice to see a few new items in there and even some characters so they are surely still worth the money.

In regards to the Fantasy Pack, for the unarmed Imp and Dessicated Priest, are they not suppose to attack? Noticed they just stand there idol. I also have a hard time killing the Unarmed Imp with any melee weapon (for example with an Axe). Also the Dessicated Priest seems to be a bit too short. I know I can easily scale it. Just noticed its default height to be not close to eye level.

Its great to see some of these older models come to life in Game Guru. Lot of great content from old Model Packs that are of decent quality.

Much of the older content has been enhanced as well so its not like it just got thrown in ..
I nearly have all the DLC's now ... Well worth the purchase's in my opinion

I will look at the scripts for the unarmed fantasy characters and see what is up with them.

I have a question, as im getting a bit lost as to what files came from the DLC and which are stock ones with the new GG update. What types of effects come with the GG stock in the "effectsbank > reloaded" folder? I'm looking to reference some decal effects but don't want to mistakenly reference a file nobody else.

I've take the Buildings pack, but almost buildings is unusable because have closed doors and widows.
So, this pack have many and very nice buildings, but just for look or walk around of it, not for use-it in combat.

Not seen them there myself. Not sure why it got that description.
The new 7 soldiers are in the Death Valley folder under Characters, there should be 7 of them. (Death Valley Pack)

The new fantasy characters are in the fantasypack/characters folder. (Fantasy Pack)

The last time I was there, there was literally nothing. That was in the 1970s. I'm sure somebody built something, and with all these terrorist training camps around, who knows? Maybe I'll look at Google Earth later.

Why not...

Building pack - house(1)

Working in some buiding, but it takes a long, I'll discover sometime is most difficult modify those building, then start from scrach.
And yes you're right, this fact prevent me to buy this pack when released.

Aside note: I had not worked much with zombies till today, so I noticed the death zombi disappear when player go far away from him/her; that nice saving resources, disappear.lua do the trick, I thought.
