Hi

Can anyone please tell me how to make my own signs & posters?

Do I need any software? If so, what and where do I get it from? Plus are there any good video tutorials I can follow?

Thanks for the reply, but surely there must be an easier way instead of 3D programs like 3Ds Max?

If you want to create your own 3D models from scratch, you need a 3D design program.

Obviously everyone feels comfortable with a program or another, for this you should try many 3D programs, to find out which one meets your needs and desires.

I tried Milkshape, although I must admit that 3ds Max is much more comprehensive, although a little more complex.
The real problem of 3ds Max is its high price.

Create traffic signs or posters for example, it has great difficulty.
You'd be surprised what the practice can achieve.

A simple plane or box with good texture, can be converted easily into what you want to do.

For example in this video the poster are just that, simple box with a texture.

PD: the fórum I had pointed above, is the right subforum for your thread. Just my thoughts.

You Come and try it, you'll discover that can be exciting to create your own models and use them in GG.

@Rector131uk
What 3com said, also if all you want is a simple 3d modeling program have a look at Milkshape or Fragmotion.
best
