I've also been working on some dinosaurs (though they look nothing like the quality of yours). My only issue is I'm no good at LUA scripting lol

You did a fantastic job on the breathing. A detail a lot of artists tend to forget to include on living creatures.

@Teabone Thank you. Yeah I have had to learn LUA script to get the T-rex to behave like an animal. its not perfect but it will roam around the world stand idle or chase the player all done in script. I am hoping to add Hunt so it can hunt the player down to.

I like the first texture best, but that's probably because I can see it clearly - the others are a bit dark

Same here the first texture looks more realistic for this creature. Looks grrrrrrrreat by the way.

yh the textures are pretty black so it's hard to see your intended / the actual outcome but i quite like number 3 (it's a tough choice though)

for the script you could try this if you adjust the animation frames to match your model

Yeah my textures are way to dark even in Game Guru. I tried that script first it was great to learn from and I have ended up writing my own which seems to do the same thing but on its roam it can go anywhere not just towards the player. Here is a video of the t-rex in game guru sounds was created by my brother which are cool still not sure on the textures I will keep changing it in till it looks right.

Gallimimus is good! In starting to look like I might actually get to make my Jurassic Park fan game. Compy's would be cool too, not sure I spelled that right

Just bought the T-Rex ..... Just incredible .... but I had no sound ..
I re pathed in the properties to the audio files ... ( no big deal ) but although I can hear the footsteps there is still no roar ...

Still checking that but incredible work spike314....
Looking forward to more

UPDATE ... Leaving the path intact and just copying the audio files directly to the audiobank folder solved the issue ...
Just love this T-Rex

The audio path is in the Rex's properties are ( audiobank\trex_roar.wav ) and ( audiobank\trex_walk1.wav )
However they get located to

( audiobank\purchased\Rattlercreed\Characters\ trex_walk1.wav )
and
( audiobank\purchased\Rattlercreed\Charactrex_roar.wav ters\ )

Everyone should get this issue ... Must be the way its packaged on download ?
Im not the only one am I ?

I did once ....

I deleted the dbo and bin files and it seemed fine after .... I thought it was me .
You could try that ... The only other time I have noticed him lifting is when he tries to get me on a hill .. but he does go back to level when I get on level ground ..

didn't change anything, just downloaded and ran the map and that's what happens
just tried deleting the dbo & bin and restarting GG but its still happening, seems to be after he kills me he floats a bit.

yep definitely seems to be the attack animation that's causing it

That's not to say smallg isn't or the only one getting the issue because like I said this did happen to me once ..
I just cant help you or show you anything to help .

Smallg can you please try and re- download model again just to make sure nothing is corrupted. I am still trying to reproduce the glitch with no luck so far but I will keep trying if all else fails I could try and rewrite the script file.

ok i will try delete it and redownload it completely tomorrow, i would say it's definitely not a scripting issue though, it's a physics issue, something to do with the boundary - does the head drop below terrain height while animating the attack?
guess i can adjust the frames myself tomorrow too and see if it makes a difference, i'll let you know if i get it fixed just in case anyone else gets it.

No I don't believe the head does drop below the terrain I will try and fix the issue tomorrow also.

Edit: I have uploaded a new version that fixes the sound and hopefully the glitch you are having. Just waiting for approval.

Edit 2: I have found the problem with T-Rex it was because the attack animation seems to be higher then the rest it hasn't been repair in my last upload but will be fixed shortly once I have sorted the hunting prey script.

you can buy from the store with steam wallet already and mounts aren't really possible yet in any form.

As smallg said you can buy it using steam wallet. Mounts would be nice but the script is to limited to do things like that. May be in the future when you have more control in script.
