@All:
There has been support for multi textured objects since the TGC city pack came out. Most of them no longer give light mapping errors, as some set procedures on the way they need to be used.

First and most important. any object that uses multiple textures must not have any texture or shader listed in the FPE file.
If you don't want to heed this, then enjoys very long lightmapping sessions. As the lightmapper will take the time to light map each and every texture only to put the first list texture in the FPE file in all uv channels for the object. Yep if there was 10 textures used, there will be ten of the listed textured baked not the ones that are mapped to the x file.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Now multi materials are also limited to 6 right now. maybe more in the future, but more then this will double them up.

So the most important thing about multimaterial objects is adhere to the guide lines and you should have no issues with them.

Thank you.

It should also be noted that multi material objects cant use normal maps as they look really messed up.
P.S I did not join in 2015. Ive been backing this project from day one. When I switched to steam it messed up my account....... Just so ya know
